Sorry to all of you "YOWZA!" fans! I'm just not gettin' it together very good for my Sunday Featured Artist segment. Maybe I should pause this feature while summer is still upon us....
I am SO excited to show you my latest drawing. (There, I said it: "drawing". HAHA!) I've been kinda havin' a bum day & it was really a cool experience to go somewhere peaceful & sit down with my sketch pad & pencils & just draw. I've never done that before. I love having a "portable" craft. Pencils. Paper. That's it.
Can you tell it's a chocolate chip cookie? I just don't want it to be mistaken for a raisin cookie. Not my favorite. I drew this in honor of my grandmother & her dad & the chocolate chip cookie dough that was destined for other things besides cookies. (Remember the story I told yesterday of my great grandfather's bakery that burned down in the 1920's?)
I'm excited to cuddle up in a blanket on my comfy couch tonight with my sketch pad & pencils & see what else comes out.
