The Owlie Aftermath

Ok, so I was up until 2am sewing owlies & STILL didn't get it all done. Lots of stuffing & stitching to do, but that's OK. The tedious part is done. And LOOK! I've got 2 new owlie designs! I've only made 3 grey & 4 cream colored ones & there's still the green/pink & brown ones. Not sure if I'll get around to making more before Christmas. Too much to get ready for with the bazaar & all.

So, my living room--where I was getting down to owlie business last night--is a COMPLETE & hideous mess. It looks like a crafty tornado came through. It looks like a giant craft monster threw up. It looks like someone with a case of crafty diarrhea pooed all over the place. HAHAHA! Ok, I'll stop.

Right now I'm in my art studio freezing my ba-gee-gee's off. My fingers are icicles. I WOULD turn my space heater on, but I'm afraid the place would catch fire. It's a mess down here too. Hmm, there's a trend happening. I really need to make it a point to clean up as things are getting more & more busy everyday & I'm starting to not be able to find stuff. I'll do it tomorrow.

Why tomorrow? Because I have orders to fill & send today AND because tonight's my Monday Night Feast thingie. And tell me if this doesn't sound good: chili, cheese & crackers, homemade applesauce (thanks mom!) & homemade cinnamon rolls (thanks little Pillsbury guy!). Mmmm....

Do you like my new neato hat/scarf? I bought it while in Spokane this past weekend. It's a Vera Wang from Kohl's. It's my new favorite thing. It kinda looks like it has ears. I LOVE it!

Alright, I'm off to thaw these icy digits...

  6. The owls are so cute!

I'm having crafty mess issues too.. I trash one room/work surface/table with a project and dive right into another one somewhere else. I'm running out of places to make stuff!

  9. Hey, I have a question about the cheesy potato recipe. Do the O'brien potatoes have to be thawed or do ya just dump them in frozen? Can you tell I am such a novice? Thanks!
