A Weekend Hello!

A lovely local blogger contacted me earlier this week offering me a stash of her grandmother's hankies. Mom & I popped over to her garage sale Saturday morning & I was handed a splendid vintage pile of sweet squares. I love them so! Thank you Beckie! (She refers to herself as a "low-key" blogger, so I leave no link as to retain her anonymity ;0)

I'm craftin' up a mess in the WhiMSy love house. It's a good kinda mess. Getting lots done. Boxes filled in on my 'to-do' checklist & all that.

Next week will be the first "real" week that I begin the regular school schedule with my girls. I'm celebrating by having a girly date with Tia. YAY! We're gonna lounge at Barnes & Noble, sip fancy coffee drinks & flip through loads of mags & books. We may even get in an adult conversation or two. Wouldn't that be awesomely peachy?

The fam & I are contemplating doing some picnic-ing, boating & jet-skiing tomorrow as a last hurrah to summer.

Hope you're enjoying your Labor Day weekend!

  2. I have a box full of my grandmother's hankies...I use a few of them as they are intended. They belonged to the same grandmother whose costume jewelry has been redesigned as shown on my blog. what's the plan for yours?

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. Every time you do, I do a little happy dance. For reals.
