Road Trip to NE: Day one
I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET PICS ON HERE VIA MY IPHONE SO HOPEFULLY THIS LINK TO ONE OF THE PICTURES ON MY FLICKR PAGE WILL WORK. AND WHY ON EARTH THE CAPS WON'T GO AWAY IS A MYSTERY. WHAT A WEIRD POST HUH? http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/whimsy_girl/4151495197/ WE HAD BEAUTIFUL WEATHER, PERFECT SKIES, ONLY HIT A LITTLE PATCH OF SCARY FOG. WE TRAVELED FOR ABOUT 11 HOURS TODAY. IT WILL BE OUR BIGGEST DAY OF THE TRIP. WE ARE HOPING TO STOP & FIND SOME INTERESTING PLACES IF WE CAN TOMORROW. TODAY WAS A BIG PUSH BUT TOMORROW WON'T BE QUITE AS LONG. STILL LOTS OF CAR TIME BUT NOT LIKE TODAY. WE'RE ON OUR WAY TO CHEYENNE TOMORROW. I AM IN AWE AT THE BEAUTY OF OUR COUNTRY & THE SUPERBLY AWESOME WORLD GOD HAS MADE FOR ME. THE MOUNTAINS, THE SUNSETS, THE CLOUDS....ARE ALL PREZZIES WE GET TO RECEIVE EVERYDAY.

That is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing that picture. I have never seen anything like that.
ReplyDeletegorgeous!!!!! i have a tiny view of the bay here in the panhandle of florida, beautiful yes, but mostly just in the summer. i'm living through bloggers in the rest of the country to show me my fall and winter. have a great trip!! i love following you around! : )
ReplyDeleteWhen hubby and I drove from Connecticut to Washington (state) ((TWICE)) we stopped to see some WEIRD stuff! Largest prairie chicken? Oh yeah! Giant buffalo? Well hello giant friend! There are some interesting sights in the heart of America!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Be careful today. It's snowing in Colorado, which means Cheyenne could be getting it too.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what you're using on your iPhone to post, but there is a great app called BlogPress, it allows you to post right from your phone including pictures - you don't even have to upload to flicker first. I use it all the time.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for the caps - on your keyboard view there is an arrow on the bottom left (similar to where the shift key would be on a keyboard). If that key is highlighted in blue your caps are on, if the arrow only is highlighted and white, it's a temporary shift, and if it's all plain grey then you'll type in lowercase. Just touch that key until you get the desired effect you want. :-) I hope some of that helps. :-)
Also, it looks like your trip is going well, I hope you're all having some fun. What pretty scenery.
I haven't commented before but I love following to see what you are up to. Many of your crafty ideas appear in different places on the internet. I was wondering if you saw the movie "Up" and if you did I'm sure you noticed the little soda pop pin that he is wearing. It just reminded me of you. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! We do live in an amazing country with so many different landscapes. Enjoy your move to NE, I hope you like it here as much as I do! :-)
ReplyDeleteI so know what you mean. Nothin' like getting out into nature and seeing all the "entertainment" God has provided for us!
ReplyDeleteLovely pic, btw! Be careful and safe trip, kay?
i love your perspective on the gifts God has given us in everything, especially the country we live. =) i kinda have a love/hate relationship with wyoming though. beautiful in areas, but desolate in others...probably still kinda bitter since the wyoming oil fields kept my hubby away for too long at a time years ago. but that's my issue. other than that i miss driving through. you're a lucky girl! =) travel safely.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You have been given an award. Please come by my blog to pick it up :o)
