Week in Review: May 3-9

My week-in-review is a little late. I'm a busy girl these days.

I don't know why, but this week-in-review is one of my faves. It could be the inclusion of some of those rad hipstamatic photos. Or the fact that more craftiness was involved in my week than has been in a long time. Or that the girls & I got to visit & feed some baby cows. Or that I look like Chewbacca in that center photo. Or maybe all of the above.

One of the highlights of my week was Mother's Day. I woke up with kisses from my 5 year old, cards from the family (Pazely wrote: "you are the dest mom I ever hab"), a rose, lunch at my favorite Chinese place, home for a relaxing sunny sit on the porch, a bit of crafting, cupcake making, leftover Chinese for dinner & the night ended with popcorn & a campfire with friends.

My 7 year old gave me a poster she had worked on the night before Mother's Day. She stapled & taped together 13 pieces of brown & white paper- & even arranged them in a checkboard fashion. Here is what it said:

So she ran out of reason why I'm so spesholl. Big deal! haha! I love it. It's one of those melty-heart moments. Just precious.

I've got a super busy week ahead. I'm putting in some extra hours at work this week & juggling numerous other things. And on top of it all I'm feeling sickly.

I'm taking it one hour at a time.
