"Silhouette of a snack"
I pretty much edit all my photos through Picnik.com.
Sadly, they'll be closing shop April 19th.
But, I just found out about some photo editing websites to ease my mourning...
- picmonkey.com, which states "free for now", which means I prolly won't be using them. Hey, just being honest. (Although I did play around with some editing & it reminds me of picnik.com, easy to use.)
- aviary.com, , which flickr will soon be hosting to edit photos. (Haven't tried it out yet, but it's my likely choice!)
- Creative Kit in Google+, which looks a bit confusing, not sure how to use it, but that doesn't mean I won't scope it out eventually.
Do you have a photo editing site of choice?
♥
I love picnic too.. My Mac has some basic controls like picnic and I sometimes use those.. But I just love picnic.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably move to aviary... :)
I'm mourning too. :{ bye bye picnic - I just loved the little messages"setting out blanket" and what not.
befunky.com is a great site!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness you posted all these options. I've been so sad and planning Picnik's funeral for months :(
ReplyDeleteLet's all hold hands and talk about something we love about Picnik ;) ha, ha
Oh, I am so happy to hear that Flickr is going to be partnering with SOMEONE! LOL! I used Picnik through Flickr, and I have the paid Flickr account and was really hoping they were going to have something in place after the close! Lover your fun photo!
ReplyDeleteI know Jennifer!! HAHA! My heart has been growing heavy every day as April 19th approaches. "Funeral" definitely describes it all.
ReplyDelete*a moment of silence*
Google has a free photo editing tool called Picasa and they recently added many of the features from Picnik.
ReplyDeleteI was super sad when I heard about Picnik closing. I kinda sat there dumbfounded for a few days, just editing the wazoo out of my photos, then realizing I had until middle of April. I tried ipiccy.com, it's still in Beta mode, but it's exactly like picnik.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to ask you if you have found any other options that are similar. I agree with everyone else here... a sad, sad, day is on the way. Sniff Sniff Sniff!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling sad too...funny to see just how many people love picnik! I use Photobucket sometimes..but it's just not the same.
