Photo Editing Options

"Silhouette of a snack"

I pretty much edit all my photos through Picnik.com.
Sadly, they'll be closing shop April 19th.

But, I just found out about some photo editing websites to ease my mourning...
  • picmonkey.com, which states "free for now", which means I prolly won't be using them. Hey, just being honest. (Although I did play around with some editing & it reminds me of picnik.com, easy to use.)
  • aviary.com, , which flickr will soon be hosting to edit photos. (Haven't tried it out yet, but it's my likely choice!)
  • Creative Kit in Google+, which looks a bit confusing, not sure how to use it, but that doesn't mean I won't scope it out eventually.
Do you have a photo editing site of choice?

  1. I love picnic too.. My Mac has some basic controls like picnic and I sometimes use those.. But I just love picnic.
I'll probably move to aviary... :)
I'm mourning too. :{ bye bye picnic - I just loved the little messages"setting out blanket" and what not.

  4. Oh, I am so happy to hear that Flickr is going to be partnering with SOMEONE! LOL! I used Picnik through Flickr, and I have the paid Flickr account and was really hoping they were going to have something in place after the close! Lover your fun photo!

  6. Google has a free photo editing tool called Picasa and they recently added many of the features from Picnik.

  7. I was super sad when I heard about Picnik closing. I kinda sat there dumbfounded for a few days, just editing the wazoo out of my photos, then realizing I had until middle of April. I tried ipiccy.com, it's still in Beta mode, but it's exactly like picnik.
