Summer Diary: Day 47: Make a Fort

Ok, so you don't have to make such a fancy fort as this. This was actually a gift from Target (years ago) that, after much use, got crammed in a box. (And has been for approximately 4+ years.) In all honesty, I was procrastinating ever setting it up again because I thought one of the 27 pieces was broken. But, alas, not a thing is damaged! It's not that big of a deal to set up either. Silly me. After a good clean in the garage, I was inspired to set it up (out of the windy wind). The girls are having a BLAST (all afternoon I might add) sitting in there & playing.

So, go ahead! Build a fort! Use sheets & chairs. Or tilt the couch on its side (we do sometimes!), surround it with other furniture & cover with blankets. Or simply toss a large sheet over the dining table. What about tying a rope between two trees & draping a sheet over the rope?
Anything! Just build a fort!!

And, P.S.: I don't care how old you are or if you have kids or not.
Build it!
Here's some ideas to get you started:
