Last week...
...I had a busy week doing office-type things at the church.
...I skipped my housecleaning chores.
...the family slid down the stairs on cardboard boxes for Family Night.
...I had the worst heartburn for days.
...I watched the Mr. toss a football with the girls as the sun was setting & making the sky all pretty-like.
...the WhiMSy love fam watched our favorite show: The Voice!
...I grabbed a sheet, a gnome beard & some cardboard to help Zoey transform into Moses for Halloween.
...I watched Pazely rummage around to find last year's owlie costume to wear again this year. She couldn't wait to put it on!
...I painted a giant 6.5 foot square chalkboard on the wall of our coffee cafe at church.
...Pazely & I visited a couple holiday craft shows in town where we purchased pepper jelly & cupcake pops. And then we went to the mall & bought sausage & cheese & a book & fashion accessories.
...the fam & I were blessed at church as some of our church family put on a lovely lunch & showered us with cards for Pastor Appreciation. (I even wore a lovely corsage.)
...the Mr. pointed out a dead deer hanging from a tree in the front yard of one of the houses in our neighborhood. Of course we had to go back so I could take pictures.
...I did some Christmas shopping online.
...I started reading "On the Way Home" to the girls. It's a journal by Laura Ingalls Wilder from a journey she took with Almanzo & Rose from De Smet, South Dakota to Mansfield, Missouri.
...I got quite giddy, planning a mini-mini road trip with my Susan friend, who lives 2.5 hours from me, to see our Sarah friend, who lives less than 1.5 hours from me.
...I drank a Caramel Brulée Latte at Starbucks. And then the next day I tried a Gingerbread Latte. (Caramel won, hands down.)
...Pazely & I visited the creepiest zombie house in the neighborhood on Halloween.
