DIY: Vinyl Trinket Hair Bow

I made a bow similar to this one when I was a young teenager. For whatever reason, this project has stuck with me, twenty-five years later.
This is such a fun craft to make because it can be personalized to the extreme, depending on what trinkets & things you put inside the clear vinyl bow.

On a side note: I have had this vinyl in my crafty stash for a while. I am not sure what weight or "gauge" it is. But it is not a thick vinyl. I know that much. It feels like the thickness of a gallon-sized freezer bag. (If that helps.)

Here are the supplies you'll need to make your own...

  4. I made these back in the 90's for my 2 girls. About the same except the edges were melted very carefully with an iron. I even had one that was filled with water and trinkets. This one looks much easier, but you see the sewing line, but easier is good. :)
