Summer Break: Day 17

I truly want to make every day of summer break something special for my girls. And by that, I don't mean carnival-style happiness & major extravaganzas. This summer I made it a goal to come up with one idea each day. Some of the projects are all day events. But most aren't. Some last only 15 minutes. Some things are outings & not crafty-related at all. And my girls have even started asking me in the morning, "What fun thing are we gonna do today mom?" That can be overwhelming to keep up with. But library books have helped me. And googling on the internet. And magazines. And friends!
You see, I don't have to come up with something fun EVERY day because, for instance, my girls are fishing right now with some friends. It's their FUN for the day. And I get the day off from having to come up with ideas.
I likey.
