DIY: Polka-Dot Gift Wrap

I love me some homemade gift wrap. Who cares what's inside, let me just ooh & aah for a moment at the awesomeness on the outside. Right?

The most important things you'll need for this project are an outdoor space + a protective surface. I happened to make a wee bit of a mess on the back patio. The landlord is gonna kill me.
*Googles "spray paint removal"*

Kraft paper is usually thick & I have never had success with using regular tape to hold things down when I use it to wrap a gift. My secret? A hot glue gun! The bonus part is that you don't even see the adhesive.

Top your gift with a giant wild handmade pom-pom.
And then give it away!

  1. I love the idea of using kraft paper and making it personalized! It turned out so cute and festive! I saw one recently in a magazine that used kraft paper as well, but they used black and made it chalk board wrapping paper. Cuteness!
